A brief outline:

  1. You should receive an email from the Advising office letting you know registration for the next semester is beginning soon. During the week before enrollment begins, pick up your enrollment card, a copy of balance sheet, and a list of dates registration begins based on class standing in M205 Keplinger. Class standing is based on COMPLETED credits only.

  2. Clear any holds placed on your enrollment. Holds are listed on the enrollment card and must be cleared in the office placing the hold (i.e. Business Office, Admissions, International Student Services) before you can enroll. Ask if you need to know where to go to get a particular hold cleared. A few holds may not be able to be removed and will not allow anyone with these holds to register online - we empathize with your situation, but there is nothing we can do about it so if you have one of these holds, you'll have to register with someone in the Advising office.

  3. Choose your courses and meet with your faculty advisor. You must have your enrollment card signed by your faculty advisor before you can be enrolled for the next semester. Your advisor's name is listed on your enrollment card.

  4. Bring your completed enrollment card to the Advising office BEFORE your enrollment date if you wish to enroll online. We will keep the original and make a copy for you. If you run into problems registering online BRING THIS COPY BACK when you come to see us to fix the problem as we will not find your original during the peak of registration.
NOTE: If the section of a course closes before you get to register, you may choose another section. If you decide to take another course than what your advisor approved on your enrollment card, you will need to complete a drop/add form to add that course. The only exception to this rule is if the block course you wish to take has closed, you may choose another block course if your advisor had approved a block course on your enrollment card.

  5. If you enroll yourself online, please log out and log back in to make sure you did everything correctly and to make sure you didn't miss adding any labs or quiz sections. If you register for classes in the advising office, check to make sure everything is correct BEFORE you leave the office.
